Rattrapage des portraits photos – jeudi 9 octobre

Une séance de rattrapage des portraits photos aura lieu le jeudi 9 octobre entre 10h et 11h30 pour les élèves et les membres du staff absents lors de la première session.
Vous pouvez venir à tout moment sur ce créneau pour réaliser votre photo individuelle avec notre photographe.

Portrait Photo Catch-up – Thursday, 9 October

A portrait photo catch-up session will be held on Thursday, 9 October between 10:00 and 11:30am for students and staff who missed the first session.
You can come anytime during this slot to have your individual photo taken by our photographer.

Message de Sophie Marmontel :

J’ai le plaisir de vous annoncer que les cours de yoga reprennent à partir du mardi 16 septembre, chaque semaine de 17h30 à 18h30 dans la salle de motricité !

Pour celles et ceux qui ne me connaissent pas encore : j’enseigne en grande section de maternelle dans notre école. En parallèle, je suis formée pour enseigner le Vinyasa yoga, le Yin yoga ainsi que le yoga pour enfants, et je poursuis actuellement une formation en yoga danse.

Les séances proposées seront des cours de Vinyasa yoga, mêlant bien-être, respiration, souplesse et renforcement musculaire, dans une atmosphère conviviale et bienveillante. Une belle parenthèse pour souffler au milieu de nos semaines bien remplies.

Si tu es intéressé(e), n’hésite pas à rejoindre notre groupe Facebook : j’y posterai un message afin de recueillir vos envies, besoins et attentes pour que chacun puisse y trouver son compte.

Pour participer, rien de compliqué :

  • ton sourire
  • une tenue confortable
  • un tapis (je peux en prêter si besoin)

Yoga Activity

Message from Sophie Marmontel: 

I’m happy to let you know that our yoga classes will start again on Tuesday, September 16, every week from 5:30 to 6:30 pm in the motricity room!

For those who don’t know me yet: I teach in Grande Section at our school, and alongside my work in the classroom, I am also a trained yoga teacher. I’m certified in Vinyasa yoga, Yin yoga, and kid’s yoga, and I am currently completing my training in yoga dance.

The sessions will be Vinyasa yoga, combining well-being, breathing exercises, flexibility, and strength training, all in a supportive and welcoming atmosphere. A perfect little break to recharge during our busy weeks.

If you’re interested, feel free to join our Facebook group. I’ll post a message there to gather your wishes, needs, and expectations so that everyone can make the most of this time together.

To join in, you only need:

  • your smile
  • comfortable clothes
  • a yoga mat (I can lend some if needed)

I’m really looking forward to sharing these moments with you.

Nouveau marché à Heffron Park

Bonne nouvelle pour notre staff qui vit autour du LCS ! Dès le dimanche 19 octobre 2025, Heffron Park accueillera son tout nouveau marché mensuel. Installé dans le stade de netball couvert (46 Fitzgerald Avenue, Maroubra), il aura lieu chaque 3ᵉ dimanche du mois de 8h à 14h.

Au programme : plus de 100 stands avec des produits frais, de l’artisanat, de la mode et des créations locales. Vous y trouverez aussi de la street food, de la musique live et des animations gratuites pour toute la famille.

Une belle occasion de profiter d’un moment convivial tout en soutenant les producteurs et artisans de notre région — et tout ça à deux pas de chez vous !

New Market at Heffron Park

Great news for our staff living around LCS! Starting Sunday, 19 October 2025, Heffron Park will host its brand-new monthly market. Held at the indoor netball stadium (46 Fitzgerald Avenue, Maroubra), the market will take place every 3rd Sunday of the month from 8 am to 2 pm.

Expect over 100 stalls featuring fresh produce, handmade crafts, fashion, and local creations. There will also be street food vendors, live music, and free entertainment for the whole family.

A perfect opportunity to enjoy a friendly outing while supporting local producers and artisans — all just around the corner!
