Dear parents,
We are only a few days away from the School fête, brilliantly organised by the Parents & Friends, during which all elementary and secondary students will have the opportunity to have fun in weather conditions that promise to be perfect for a variety of activities, both indoors and outdoors.
Performances, moments of laughter, and joy await everyone, notably including the dunking machine, the magic show, a pony ride, and our photobooth to capture these memorable moments. Four Frogs and France at Home will be present for those who wish to enjoy a gourmet break or have a coffee with Chartswell or indulge in their sweet & savoury treats.
It is still time to enrol, student or adult to our volunteers list pour les activités ou pour être the superstar of the dunking machine.
We would like to express our deepest gratitude to the Parents & Friends association for their dedication, efficiency, and energy they put into making this event a success. A big thank you also goes to the teachers who lend us their support, to the LCS team, and to the volunteer children and parents.
We look forward to welcoming you all to enjoy the atmosphere and activities that span across all the courtyards of LCS.
Thank you.
Kind regards,
Nicolas L’Hotellier
Principal

Call for Applications: Host Families
Are you interested in hosting an international student? Are you an English-speaking family looking to broaden your cultural horizons by interacting with young students?
As you may know, LCS is delighted to regularly welcome foreign students without their families, enriching our community and providing exceptional opportunities for these students. The agencies we collaborate with are constantly seeking host families, involving the accommodation of a student from 10th to 12th grade for a minimum period of one year. LCS is, of course, not directly involved in the process or acting as an intermediary, but you can contact these two companies directly.
Global Experience: Jessica@globalexperience.com.au
Soon, a library will be opening in Yopougon, Abidjan.
Five IB1 students - Claire, Daphnée, Hugo, Julien, and Storm - have brought to fruition the project initiated in October 2023: sending books for the creation of the future library in the Yopougon neighbourhood of Abidjan, and enriching the libraries of both the primary school and high school in the Koumassi neighbourhood.
It's a total of 103 cartons of books - novels, documentaries, textbooks, dictionaries, encyclopaedias - that will be shipped at the end of March from the warehouses of Bolloré Logistics, based in Sydney. They graciously responded to our call when we were seeking sponsorship for transporting our shipment from Sydney to Abidjan.
We warmly thank the entire team at Bolloré Logistics in Sydney for their dedication and invaluable assistance in this project beyond our borders!
