A Message From LCS
Dear Parents,
We look forward to welcoming your child(ren) to Lycée Condorcet Sydney and we thank you for choosing our school.
We invite you to attend a welcome meeting for families new to Lycée Condorcet de Sydney on the morning of Friday, June 2nd. During this meeting we will share information about the back-to-school, about the programmes taught at our school, as well as practical information about day-to-day life at the school.
Please note that there will be a second meeting on August 11th for those unable to attend the first meeting in June.
This newsletter contains practical information regarding their education at Lycée Condorcet and we ask that you please read it carefully.

Practical Information
Important Dates
1 June Registration opens for after-school care and the canteen. Register via Eduka.
2 June New Families Information Meeting. Register here.
11-22 July The school closes for two weeks (no access and limited communication with Admissions).
10 August Registration opens for the school bus.

11 August Second New Families Information Meeting for those who can not attend in June.
Register here.
16 August First day of school. Drop-off from 8.00-8.45 am.
Coffee meet for new parents between 9.00-9.45 am.
Start times and meeting points for each grade will be communicated soon.
22 August Registration opens for extracurricular activities (AES), the music programme, sports development squads and the October and Novemeber vacation care for Petite and Moyenne Section.

Information and Compulsory Documents
HAVE YOU TICKED ALL THE BOXES?
- Leaving certificate from past school (if applicable)
- Proof of passing previous grade (if required)
- Dates and photocopy of Visa (if applicable)
- Residential Address in NSW
- Up-to-date phone number and email address
- Inform the school of specific needs (dietary, health, learning)
ARE YOU UP-TO-DATE?
Important : Eduka is our online filing portal for you and your child's personal data, permission slips, visa information, etc. This information must be kept up to date at all times. Since you first submitted your child's application, certain things have been added to Eduka that you may not yet have filled in. Please check the Personal Information tab on Eduka, click on your child's profile and make the required updates. Any changes you need to make can be done in your Eduka profile..
LCS Contacts
Once your child begins school on August 17th, your main points of contact will change. Besides your child's teachers, you will be in touch with the Vie Scolaire and the school secretaries. Please find their addresses below, as well as a list of all your LCS contacts (principal, sick-bay, library, etc.).

Uniforms
Maternelle:
In Maternelle, students will receive three polo shirts and one hat in class on their first day of school, wearing both the polo and the hat is compulsory. Please refer to here for more information on the maternelle dress code.
Elementary and Secondary:
Each child will receive two polo shirts, one pair of shorts and one hat at either the welcome meeting on August 12th should they attend, or at reception on the first day of school. Year 1 students will receive their uniforms in class on the first day.
Wearing a hat while outside is compulsory, and the school uniform is compulsory on days when students practice sport or have an excursion.
If the uniforms that you are given do not fit, you can change them at the school reception. Please leave the tags on if you wish to exchange them.

Parents & Friends Association
The Parents & Friends Association aims to create meaningful connections between LCS parents, community members, and new families through events (barbecues, bake sales, ride2schools), by running a P&F Facebook page and by organising a babysitting and tutoring phonebook that helps our families immensely. Join the group and ask your questions there!
> The P&F Association will be present at the welcome meetings in June and August to answer any questions you might have about life as an LCS parent.

- Eduka Access via your browser or download the app. Manage you and your child's information, permissions, invoices, registration for the canteen, extracurriculars, etc.
- Pronote Access via your browser or download the app. Access your child's timetable, homework, report cards, meetings, the lunch menu. You will receive login access via email just before school-start.
- SeeSaw Access via your browser or download the app. Primary school teachers use Seesaw to safely share photos and videos of the students' work with parents.
