A message From LCS

Dear parents and students,

We are thrilled to start this new school year with a beautiful blue sky ! we are ready to go: brand new buildings; modern classrooms; coffee cart. After two long and odd years, we are back to normal and are all set! Our teachers and our staff members are delighted to welcome LCS students. 

Please have a look to a quick reminder about some important dates and key information published in the newsletter on August 11th to start this week peacefully. 

Café de Flore de Maroubra awaits you from 8:00 am tomorrow; come and enjoy a hot beverage while admiring the beautiful open-air patio.

August 30th -4:30 pm  Primary Cycle 1 (PS,MS, GS) Parents meeting

NSW latest News

While masks are no longer mandated, staff and students may continue to choose to wear a mask. 

My child has symptoms of Covid19 :

If a student or staff member receives a positive RAHT or PCR test, they need to :

-record the positive RAHT result through the Service NSW website or Service NSW app. web ou l’application de Service NSW.

-notify the school of the positive RAT or PCR test result as soon as possible:

- follow NSW Health advice to isolate for 7 days.

- isolate for seven days following the positive test. Leave isolation after seven days if no symptoms (sore throat, runny nose, cough or shortness of breath)

- if there are symptoms after 7 days, then remain in isolation until 24 hours after symptoms have resolved. Note: if a person continues to have symptoms, they are able to leave isolation after 7 days with medical clearance.

What are the requirements for household/close contacts?

If a member of the household has COVID-19, students and staff are required to:

- Let the school know. The school will undertake a risk assessment before you can return to school 

- All staff members and Secondary school students are required to wear masks indoors at school

- Primary school students are strongly encouraged to wear masks indoors while at school - Take a daily rapid antigen test and receive a negative result for 5 school days

NSW Health advice is that if a person has had confirmed COVID in the last 4 weeks, they do not need to comply with the NSW Health Household and Close Contact Guidelines.  .

Posting on Friday, August 19 in Eduka. : vendredi 19 août dans Eduka.

Sibiling - Registration opens in Eduka between Monday August 22 at 8 p.m. sharp and August 26 at 11 p.m.

No cancellation or modification will be accepted after this date.

For the AES, limit to 2 registrations the first 2 days then without limit from August 24th.

Vacationcare Registration for September and November Holidays Opens from Monday August 22nd at 8 pm.

The holiday daycare is offered to to Petite Section and Moyenne Section students only.

Please note that after the registration closing date, no changes, cancellations or refunds will be possible.

* Registration closing date for September Day Care is  Sunday, September 11th 2022 at 11 pm

* Registration closing date for November Day Care is Sunday, October 16th, 2022 at 23:00.

Baby sitters, pet sitters and tutoring list preparation for the new school year 2022-2023

For all the high school students, junior high school students, alumni and LCS parents!! You can volunteer your services of babysitting, pet sitting or tutoring via this form formulaire.

This form is only to fill in the list.

Attention : les inscriptions du semestre dernier ne sont pas automatiquement reportées sur cette nouvelle année scolaire, n’oubliez  donc pas d’inscrire vos enfants pour la rentrée.

Reminder / New operation for the use of canteen

Students not enrolled in the canteen but who use it on a casual basis :

- Parents are no longer required to enrol on Eduka for casual use of canteen. 

– Une facture sera envoyée aux parents tous les mois correspondant au nombre de repas occasionnels pris par l’élève. 

- Students who are not enrolled in canteen and come to school without a lunch box will be given a meal at the canteen and parents will be invoiced at the end of the month.
