WEDNESDAY the 13th of DECEMBER 2023

Headline

Dear LCS community,

Thank you, have a great week.

Nicolas L’Hotellier,

Principal

We would like to thank the participants and stall holders who took part in the market. Your participation was greatly appreciated.

It was the Grand Direct, an AEFE event organized for the Week of French High Schools Around the World. An opportunity for students to discover journalistic formats and careers in the press. The students were able to test different roles: host (Rebecca), sound engineer (Ulysse), stage manager (Joachim), scriptwriter (Amélie), reporters (Raphaëlle, Maximiliano, Elise, and all the others). A big congratulations for this very successful and interesting live broadcast! Future vocations, perhaps?

SPORT

Inter-school tennis tournament

We, middle and high school students from the LCS Tennis Sports Section, played singles and doubles matches in competition at Pennant Hills and Parramatta last week. We did our best and are delighted to have had this opportunity. Until next year!

Joachim, captain of the 'high school' team. The chaperones, Kevin Caillau and Eva Condet, emphasize that all students took great pleasure in both victory and defeat. The level was very high with players coming from afar. A special congratulations to Louis who finishes as a finalist in the 13/14 years category and delivers a beautiful, tightly contested final.

Congratulations also to Melvil who wins the consolation of the Open -18 years tournament against Arthur, another student from the section, in the final. We hope to make this competition an annual event to bring home a trophy in the coming years!
