LCS Community

 RAPPEL / AES

Extracurricular activities (AES), the music program, and sports associations resumed on Tuesday, January 16, the first day of the school term, and will continue until the end of the semester on Friday, June 28. There are still a few spots available, please check Eduka and contact the AES coordinator (aes@condorcet.com.au) to enrol your child in an activity.

Furthermore here is the pick-up map.  

School bus enrolment

Primary students who take the school bus in the afternoon must be registered on Eduka - please contact Lysa (lysa.lege@condorcet.com.au) to regularise your child's registration.

Request for intention and orientation / Re-enrolment

In order to help us plan for next school year, the intention and orientation survey must be completed online on Eduka. You will receive an email next week inviting you to complete it before February 15th. Please note that this survey does not replace the re-registration form concerning your child's administrative status. The latter will be sent to you in March and must also be duly completed. Thank you

Badminton for LCS parents

Every Tuesday, from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm, you have the opportunity to join a group of school parents for a friendly badminton session in the school gymnasium. This activity is free of charge.

Coup de pouce ceremony

The 'Coup de Pouce' clubs started last week with six clubs from Grande Section to year 2. The opening ceremony brought together teachers, facilitators, students, and their parents.

Secondary

Scientific study at the University of Sydney

In December 2023, 8th-grade students participated in a collaborative scientific study led by researchers from the University of Sydney, New Caledonia, and Vanuatu.

This in-depth study focuses on 'The health and well-being of youth in Australia and the Pacific Islands in the digital age.'

During this experience, students demonstrated a keen interest by actively participating in various activities organised by the University of Sydney team. In the near future, this team will present an initial analysis of the results, along with detailing the upcoming stages of this exciting scientific study.

Events at school

The Orientation department will hold an information session on “all you need to know about applying to Oxford & Cambridge universities’’ at school on Wednesday 31 January in Mme Salier’s office during heure de dialogue. This will be an introduction to what makes these universities unique, what is required for the application and how to maximise your chances.

All students are welcome.

Events outside of school

Studying Law at university course (offered by Cambridge)

Is Law right for you? Explore key questions, learn the basics and hear from current students and inspirational legal speakers. This course is designed for primarily 16years + students who are considering studying Law in the UK. The next course starts on 29 January.
