CANTEEN REMINDER 2025/26: REGISTER YOUR CHILDREN NOW ON EDUKA

Attention:The holidays are coming soon, don't forget to register your childrennow for the start of the school year. In fact, no registrations are carried over to the next school year.

For secondary school students awaiting their timetables, you can register now. You will have the opportunity to modify your registration via email when confirming your timetable.

The reception will be closed from July 7th to July 27th included. You will find here the contacts of the administrative team. During the rest of the holidays, the reception will be open from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

To make your life easier, Parents & Friends Association - is partnering this year with Brilliantminds for ordering school supplies for all families. Starting this Friday, supply lists, prepared by the LCS and submitted directly by P&F, will be available. Ici.

A farewell to Chief Gunther – and a new beginning in Annandale!

We would like to inform you that Chef Gunther will be leaving the cafeteria next week. A staple of the coffee cart and a pillar of our catering team, he is about to take on a new challenge: the opening of his own cafe, Annandale Bake House, in Annandale!

Always smiling, passionate, and generous, Chef Gunther delighted our community with his carefully prepared coffees and homemade pastries. He will be greatly missed, and the entire team and school wish him every success in this new adventure.

If you feel like finding her delicious pastries again or simply saying hello, stop by and say hello at Annandale Bake House!

Primary

🎭 End-of-year shows in Primary School 🎉

The end of the school year was celebrated in style with a series of colorful shows presented by the Primary School students!

The CM1s took us on a journey through the mysteries of the sea, in a poetic and engaging show.
The CE1 students took us on a fabulous journey through books, exploring varied worlds. A show combining humor and creativity, a true ode to the imagination and reading.
The Petites Sections (PS) had the whole room dancing to catchy rhythms, inspired by the world of Wiggles!
The Grandes Sections (GS) presented a show rich in themes, reflecting their year: astronomy, ecology and superheroes were in the spotlight, for a show that was at once funny, intelligent and touching.

Congratulations to all the students and teachers for their energy, imagination and hard work throughout the year!

✨ And a special thank you to our talented choreographer Jessica Powell Antonini, for her wonderful work with the CP, GS et CM1. Thanks to her, the children delivered breathtaking performances that will remain etched in their memories. We look forward to seeing the performances of the CM2 this next Friday!

« Cet été, je lis ! » - « This summer, I read! »

As part of the national operation "This summer, I read!", launched by the Ministry of National Education and the Ministry of Culture, we want to encourage our primary school students to cultivate the pleasure of reading during the holidays. This initiative aims to promote daily reading among children, by offering them a selection of books adapted to their age and interests. Reading a little each day fosters imagination, enriches vocabulary, and strengthens understanding of the world.
Below you will find a list of recommended books for each age group, taken from the 2025 selection proposed by teachers and the National Center for Children's Literature (CNLJ). These suggestions are of course not exhaustive, and you are free to add your own literary choices.

Discover the winners of the 36th Incorruptibles Prize

This year, all classes from Petite Section to CM1 participated in the Prix des Incorruptibles, a youth literature prize awarded by young readers themselves, from kindergarten to high school.

Students discovered six stories specially selected for their level, and then voted for their favorite. Each class chose their favorite, before taking part in the national vote alongside 552,469 young readers across France, a record participation for this 35th edition!

🗳️ On June 6, 2025, the national rankings were revealed. Note: the results often reflect the choices made by classes at Lycée Condorcet in Sydney!

Visit of the bakery Label Baguette 🥖

Like every year, the CP students had the chance to visit the Label Baguette bakery. A trip that was as delicious as it was educational!

They discovered the secrets of breadmaking, got hands-on, and shaped their own rolls under the expert guidance of the baker. And to round off this wonderful morning, everyone left proudly with their warm loaf of bread... and a delicious square of chocolate to add to it!

A big thank you to the entire team at Label Baguette for their warm welcome and generosity!

Swimming Carnival from CE2 to Y6

Ready, set, go!

Tomorrow, nearly 400 students, both girls and boys, will gather at the Des Renford Leisure Centre in Maroubra for a day of competition and fun at our annual Swimming Carnival!

The program includes freestyle swimming, relays, backstroke, and other optional strokes, all in a friendly and sporty atmosphere. A great opportunity for our students to excel, encourage their classmates, and share a memorable team moment.

Due to the large number of students expected and limited space around the pools, only parent volunteers registered to organize the event will be able to attend. Thank you for your understanding.

Thank you to all the teachers, staff and chaperones who helped make this day run smoothly!

Good luck to all swimmers — and most importantly, have fun!
