Starting tomorrow, a table will be set up near the Coffee Cart at the main entrance on Moverly Road.

Please make sure to collect your child's belongings before the holidays.

Living Together in Maroubra: Parking and Mobility in the Neighbourhood 

With the increasing number of events towards the end of the year, we kindly ask you to please adhere to the parking rules, especially on Moverly, Ian, and Benvenue streets, in order to minimise inconvenience to our neighbourhood. We understand that the LCS neighboruhood has grown rapidly, but rest assured, there are still parking spots available a bit further down in the adjacent streets.

Additionally, we strongly encourage the use of public transportation, cycling, walking, or carpooling.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Canteen Registration Open

Registrations for the first semester of the 2024-2025 school year are now open on Eduka.

Reminder : Registrations for this semester are not carried over to next year. Don't forget to enroll your child(ren) now for the back to school. now for the back to school. 

Registration deadline: 11/08/2024

Sibling discounts for the 5-day canteen option:

  • 10% discount for the second child registered for the 5-day option. 
  • 19% discount for the third child registered for the 5-day option. 
  • 24% discount for the fourth child registered for the 5-day option.

 

School fees 1st semester 2024-2025 

School fees invoices for the 1st semester 2024-2025 will be sent by email at the end of this week and will also be available on your Please ensure that your Eduka account is up to date and that all fees for the 2025–2026 academic year have been settled.

Please make sure that your account is up to date with the 2nd semester fees 2023-24.

The 9th Graders Have Decided: 2024 Youth Historical Novel Award

The 9th graders participated in the 2024 Youth Historical Novel Award organised by the PRHJ 41 association. It was a unique opportunity for them to discover a variety of captivating stories rooted in fascinating historical periods.

Events at LCS

UNSW Co-Op Scholarship presentation

The UNSW co-op program is one of the most prestigious on offer in Australia. It involves 18 months of industry experience with multiple employers, leadership opportunities, substantial $$ and is open to students interested in Engineering, Business, Math and Technology.

A past scholar will visit LCS and explain the application process, the benefits and answer any questions.

Interested students come to Ms Salier’s office during heure de dialogue on Monday 17 June.

Events outside of school

The Hotel School Open Day Saturday 22 June

The Hotel School is located in the city in Phillip St, and this campus will be open from 10am-1pm on Saturday 22 June to meet current students and staff and learn about the range of courses on offer, application process and actually participate in a masterclass.

Future Doctors Australia: Paid 4 day program

This 4 day work experience program is for 14-18yr olds who would like exposure to practitioners and students in the medical field - however there is a cost involved!

The dates available in Sydney do not correspond to school holidays so permission would be needed.

Saturday Science Discovery Tour: Nuclear Science

ANSTO is providing interested students an in-depth look into the world of nuclear science. To be held at the ANSTO discovery centre @ Lucas Heights on Saturday 29 June from 10am-12.30pm

White card training courses: needed for work in construction

White card training is needed for students to stay safe if working in construction.
There are courses available throughout July. This provides an insight into this industry with so many possibilities: Online White Card Training

Preparing for University Entry in France

The Cost of University Enrolment.
For new high school graduates enrolling in a higher education institution to pursue a degree, registration fees must be paid. Starting in the 2024 academic year, these fees will be €175 for undergraduate programs.
In addition, students must also pay the Contribution Vie Étudiante et de Campus (CVEC) of €103.
As a reminder, the student health insurance scheme was definitively abolished on August 31, 2019. All students are now affiliated with the mandatory health insurance scheme.
