The CE1s had the chance to go for three days at camp in Berry from February 24 to 26, an enriching experience that won over all the students! Enthusiastic upon their return, many would have liked to extend the adventure.

This stay was a unique opportunity to discover new activities outside of the school setting. On the program: kayaking, archery, climbing and many other exciting challenges!

CM1 students had the chance to take part in an unforgettable stay at the Point Wolstoncroft camp, from February 26 to 28. Nestled on the shores of Lake Macquarie, in the heart of a national park rich in local wildlife, the camp's exceptional setting offered the children a total immersion in nature.

Enfants d’Asie Foundation: A Solidarity Project Led by the CVL, CVC, and IB Students 🤝

The CVL and the CVC are initiating a humanitarian and international project, in collaboration with Première IB students as part of the CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service) program. ✨ This project offers a unique opportunity for students to become actively involved in a charitable cause and have a concrete impact.

The Children of Asia Foundation had already been highlighted during a bake sale. Building on this first initiative, the students are back with several actions to raise funds and support the orphans of Mondulkiri, Cambodia.Their commitment not only provides valuable assistance to these children, but also raises awareness in the school community about the challenges of international solidarity.

Beyond enriching the students’ educational journey, this initiative helps improve the living conditions of the children and stands as a powerful act of solidarity. It also strengthens the connection between the school’s various student bodies and the IB students’ projects, fostering a committed and collaborative dynamic.

Social networking awareness: a project run by students for students

Dear Parents,

As part of an educational project, 5èmeB students worked on raising awareness of the use of social networks. Through various media that they have produced, they wish to inform and make 6th grade students think about the risks linked to uncontrolled use. This project is part of the French program under the theme “Living in society, participating in society”, supervised by their teacher, Ms. Cathy Halter.

The 6th grade classes will take part in these sessions on the following dates:

  • Monday March 17: 6th A and 6th B
  • Monday March 24: 6th C and 6th D

These exchanges will take place during class time (7:55 - 8:50 a.m.) and will be supervised by the teachers.

We're delighted to see our students getting involved in this civic-minded project, designed by students, for students, to help them better understand digital issues.

Thank you for your support, and please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.

GARDERIE / AFTER CARE

Dear Families,

We are pleased to announce that, for the third consecutive year, we have partnered with the Gujaga Foundation to offer Dharawal language lessons. These lessons will take place every Tuesday from 4:00 to 5:00 PM at Aftercare. Quaiden, a dedicated Dharawal teacher, will be leading the sessions for the next five weeks.

The Dharawal language is the traditional language spoken by a number of Aboriginal family groups from Sydney Harbour to the Illawarra. It is an important part of our community’s cultural heritage, and we are excited for the students to engage with it in such a meaningful way.

We look forward to another wonderful year of learning!

TEAMKIDS

Dear Parents and Families,

What an incredible time we had during the March holiday program! The children were engaged in a variety of activities that sparked their imagination, creativity, and curiosity. Let’s take a look back at some of the highlights from our fun-filled week.

🎩 Monday – The Magic Showcase

A huge thank you to all families for your support and to the children for bringing their enthusiasm and energy to every activity. We can't wait for the next holiday program!

See you really soon!
