Dear LCS community,
Before we part ways for the two-week April break, I want to express one last time, as the theater prepares to welcome a full house tomorrow night, my deep gratitude to the entire LCS team who made this project possible. What joy and pride to witness the genesis of such a beautiful project and to see so many talents bloom. We want to express our most sincere thanks to Raïcha Daoudy and Nadia Guérin for their exceptional creativity in designing the sets and costumes, to Charlotte Launay for her remarkable stage direction work, and to Magalie Métrat for brilliantly orchestrating the cast and musical parts of the show.
Best of luck to everyone for this final performance at LCS tomorrow night. We wish a great vacation especially to our BAC, BFI, and IB students who will soon begin the exam period.

Raise Your Voice!
As part of the educational activities organised by the AEFE for the Month of Languages, LCS is launching a highly creative public reading competition: "Raise your Voice!" What does it entail? Participants are required to read aloud, for one to three minutes depending on their level, an excerpt from a French-language work of their choice. The first stage of this competition took place on April 12, and the winners will be announced on May 30.

Civility and Neighbourhood.
Dear Parents,
We understand that parking at the school can be a source of stress, especially in such a densely urban environment, as is the case with many other schools in the Sydney metropolis. However, we kindly request that you adhere to the principles of civility, courtesy, and respect for our neighbours by avoiding parking in front of their garages and, even more importantly, refraining from moving their trash bins. We rely on your cooperation to maintain the best possible relationships with our neighbours. Furthermore, we would like to remind you that there are always parking spaces available just 300 to 500 meters from the school.

7 Stages of grief
In line with the approach ODDIn line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, Ms. Altshuler has adapted the renowned play "The 7 Stages of Grieving", performed by our brilliant students of 3rd B and C. This play, written by Wesley Enoch and Deborah Mailman, delves into the experiences of grief among Indigenous Australian peoples through a series of stages, blending traditional rituals with contemporary storytelling. Our students beautifully honoured the experiences, heritage, and legacy of Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait peoples throughout their performances. We extend our thanks to Ms. Altshuler for this inspiring moment with our students.

On Monday, the students of Moyenne Section had the opportunity to meet with the local police. During this encounter, they were introduced to the profession, while also having the chance to explore the equipment used by these professionals!

Friendly Meeting Between Middle School and High School Sports Section Students.
Last Sunday, students from the middle school tennis section competed against students from the high school tennis section in a friendly tournament.
Exciting matches took place in a friendly atmosphere throughout the afternoon.

Looking back at the bake sale organised by the primary school eco-delegates
We would like to congratulate the eco-delegates and the CE1D students for the success of their cake sale. We also thank the parents for the delicious pastries. $651 will be donated to WWF to protect whales, especially during their migrations: "Keep whales safe on their ocean journeys."
