What is the difference between AES and ECA Clubs?

AES (After-School Enrichment Services) are available for students from Grande Section (Kindergarten) to CM2 (Year 5) and are managed directly by the school through Eduka.

ECA Clubs are a special extracurricular offering for younger students in PS and MS. These clubs are managed by external providers and have separate registration processes. Please see the timetable.

Do ECA Clubs operate during school holidays?

No. The ECA Clubs operate during term time only and are available on school weeks. They do not run during school holiday periods.

We also invite you to contact the Parents & Friends Association, which can share information about a range of school holiday activities, including workshops, holiday camps, and other enriching programs available for children.

Is Team Kids open during the school holidays?

Yes. Team Kids operates during all school holiday periods from PS to CM2. 40 places are reserved daily throughout the year for PS & MS.

What activities are available during school holidays?

For holiday programmes and activities available during school breaks, please refer to the list of providers and holiday activities shared by the Parents & Friends Association (P&F). Team kids operates as well please see the question above.

How do I register for an activity or after-school care?

All registrations must be completed directly through the relevant provider’s online platform. The school does not manage registrations and places are allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Does registering with one provider automatically register my child for another programme?

No. Each provider manages its own registrations independently. Families must register separately for each activity or service they wish their child to attend.

Can I claim the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) for TeamKids?

Yes. TeamKids is an approved childcare provider and eligible families may be able to claim the Australian Government’s Child Care Subsidy (CCS), subject to their individual eligibility.

Can I claim the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) for ECA Clubs?

No. Extracurricular Activities (ECA Clubs) are not approved childcare services and are therefore not eligible for the Child Care Subsidy.

Why are there only 40 places available with TeamKids?

The number of places available is currently limited to 40 due to local regulatory requirements governing after-school care services. We understand that demand may exceed availability and are actively working with our partners and the relevant authorities to explore options for increasing capacity in the future.

What are the key differences between last year and this year?

The number of total available places in the activities has increased and the pick-up time has been extended by 15 mins.

As such, the providers have been required to increase their cost per session. However, the benefit to parents provides additional care of the children, so that their activity will finish in line with any older siblings attending the school's AES activities.

Can I cancel my child’s enrolment in an activity or switch to another activity during the term?

ECA Clubs are managed directly by the individual providers throughout the school semester. Any request to cancel or modify an enrolment is subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant provider. Families are encouraged to contact the provider directly regarding any changes to their child’s enrolment. 

In the spirit of cooperation and where possible, if your child is not satisfied with the selected activity, the provider may, at its sole discretion, offer a refund. A transfer to another activity operated by the same provider may also be considered, subject to availability.
