Important Dates
19th of August 2024- First day of school
19th of August 2024- Start of TeamKids and AES services.
23rd & 26th of August 2024- Sale of Second-Hand Uniforms – at LCS organised by the Parents & Friends Association during pick-up and drop-off times – at the main entrance.
26th of August 2024- Opening of registration of the Sports Associations for Secondary students only.
26th of August 2024- Opening of registration for the vacation aftercare for PS & MS.
30th of August 2024- Closure of registrations for the school bus on Eduka.
30th of August 2024- Sydney Accueil – Back-to-School coffee.
2nd of September 2024- Registration for a second activity with the sports associations is now open.
6th of September 2024- Closing of registrations for Sports Associations at 8 am.
9th of September 2024- The start of LCS sports sections and talent identification.
10th, 12th, 13th of September 2024- Class photo 2024 for maternelle, primary, and secondary students.
26th of September 2024- LCS Guinguette : all parents are welcome.
14th of December 2024- LCS's Christmas Market.

Primary
For elementary classes, from CP to CM2, you will have the opportunity to enter the courtyard and meet your child's teacher starting at 8 a.m. Classes will begin as usual at 8:50 a.m.
Below you can find the drop-off and pick-up maps for Monday.
For the maternelle classes, the Petites Sections back-to-school will take place by appointment on August 19th for a one-hour adaptation period. Regular full-day classes will begin on Tuesday, August 20th. Information has been sent to the parents concerned.
For the Moyenne & Grandes Section, the start of the school year will take place on August 19th from 10:30 a.m.
The back-to-school information meetings will take place as follows:
- General Overview of the School and Projects for the Year – Cycle 1 (Preschool) - 27th August 6.15PM
- Zoom Meeting for Cycle 2 and 3 (CP to CM2) - 28th August 6.15 PM
- Meeting with teachers in their classrooms:
2/09 5.30-7PM : CP
3/09 5.30-7 PM : CE1
4/09 5.30-7 PM : CE2
5/09 5.30-7 PM : CM1 & CM2
9/09 6-7.30 PM : Maternelle classes (PS, MS & GS)
We will organise childcare only for children enrolled in the school during evening meetings, upon registration (details will be provided at the start of the school year).
Please make sure to note these dates; attending these meetings is essential.
French School Scholarships 2024-2025
Second round
The second round of school scholarships for the 2024-2025 school year has been launched. This second round concerns:
– first-time applications from families who moved to Australia after February 23, 2024
– revision requests (for example, due to a change in family or professional circumstances)
– requests deferred from the first round. To complete your application, please follow the link below:
The deadline for receiving complete applications at the Consulate General of Sydney is September 20, 2024.

Updates on School Transportation
We would like to inform you that the school transportation module in Please ensure that your Eduka account is up to date and that all fees for the 2025–2026 academic year have been settled. is open for students from Year 1. As agreed, registration is now for the entire school year, rather than just for a semester.
The module will stay open until the 30th of Augustto allow you to complete the registrations within the given deadlines.

Please check your information in the Personal Data module of Eduka and update it if necessary (address, phone number, allergies, etc.).

AES – Important Information
Your child is supervised and has a break between 3:25 p.m. and 3:45 p.m. under the supervision of adults before the start of the AES activities.
Kindly reminder to provide a snack for your child and check the exit permissions on the form in the Personal Data module of Eduka (whether your child can leave alone or who is authorised to pick them up). Without the necessary permissions, only you will be allowed to pick up your child.
The pick-up point for each AES activity is located at different areas within the school courtyard.

Canteen & Café de Flore info
Canteen Menus for the Term : The canteen menus are now available for the entire term. Please note that there are two distinct menus, one for preschool (mandatory canteen) and one for the other classes.
You can find the preschool menu below, and the menus for elementary and secondary school are available on Pronote.Change in Schedule for Le Café de Flore : Le Café de Flore will now open at 3:00 p.m. instead of 3:20 p.m.
- Access to the Café for Secondary School Students Secondary school students have access to the Café located inside the LCS, near the canteen, between 10:00 a.m. and 10:55 a.m. Only card payments are accepted; no cash will be accepted on-site.

Our school is urgently seeking a singing teacher or a person with proven skills to lead a musical theatre project!
Desired profil:
- Expertise in singing and vocal direction
- Ability to manage and motivate a group
- Availability: every Thursday (excluding holidays) from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and one Saturday or Sunday per month.
